Terms of use

These terms apply when you use the Parkmydomain website to view, purchase, or manage domain names. By using this site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Parkmydomain Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Contact: contact@parkmydomain.co.uk.

2. Our service

Parkmydomain provides a platform to buy domain names listed for sale on individual domain landing pages. After payment, you may use the buyer account area to request transfer of the domain to a Nominet registrar tag and to access purchase records (including invoices where available). We may assist with transfer steps where stated on the site; you remain responsible for providing accurate registrar details and cooperating with registry requirements.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter into a binding contract. Buyer account access is by email verification and is limited to domains associated with your purchase email. You must keep your contact details accurate and secure access to your email account.

4. Orders, pricing, and payment

  • Prices are shown in British pounds (GBP) unless stated otherwise and include VAT only where indicated on the checkout page or invoice.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details on our servers.
  • A domain is not sold until payment is successfully received and we confirm the order in our systems (including via payment webhooks).
  • We may cancel or refuse an order before completion if we suspect fraud, error, or breach of these terms.
  • Checkout sessions may expire; a reserved domain may return to available status if payment is not completed in time.

5. Domain transfer and registration

For .uk and related UK domains, transfer is subject to Nominet rules and your chosen registrar’s processes. You must supply a valid Nominet registrar tag and comply with verification or security requirements. We are not responsible for delays caused by registries, registrars, incorrect tags, or third-party systems outside our control. Risk in the domain name passes to you once transfer to your tag (or equivalent completion) is effected in accordance with our process.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Domain names are digital goods. Once a sale is completed and transfer work has started, refunds are generally not available except where required by UK law or where we agree otherwise in writing. If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Acceptable use of this website

You must not use this website to:

  • attempt unauthorised access to our systems, buyer accounts, admin areas, APIs, or payment providers (including Stripe);
  • bypass or interfere with security measures such as sign-in verification, rate limits, or access controls;
  • scrape, probe, overload, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure;
  • submit false or misleading information at checkout, in your buyer account, or in transfer or release requests;
  • use automated tools to abuse checkout, login, or other features except where we have given you written permission;
  • interfere with other visitors’ or buyers’ use of the service.

We may suspend access, cancel orders, or report activity to payment providers or law enforcement if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

8. Intellectual property

Our branding, site content, and software remain our property or our licensors’. Purchase of a domain grants you rights connected with that domain name only as transferred through the registry/registrar process, not rights in our website or trademarks.

9. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, business, or data). Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific domain purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that domain in that transaction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes will apply from publication on this page; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also have local mandatory rights and venues.
